One charge, collection to doorstep
Delivering a parcel to the receiver's door is a different job from flying freight between airports. A courier consignment has to be collected in Pakistan, documented for export, flown, entered through customs at the far end, and then handed to a local delivery network that finds the actual address. UCL Cargo arranges all of it under one booking, so there is one price and one party answerable for the shipment from start to finish.
That matters most at the customs step, which is where parcels sent informally tend to stall. Because we prepare the export paperwork and the destination entry ourselves, the declared contents and values match what is actually in the box, and the receiver is not left arguing with a carrier about a parcel they did not ship.

Where parcels go
The heaviest traffic runs to the United Kingdom, where the VAT-paid door service is the usual choice, and onward across Western Europe to France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Beyond Europe, parcels move to North and South America and to destinations across Asia.
Transit time depends on the destination, the airline space available on the day, and how quickly customs releases at the far end, so it is confirmed when the consignment is booked rather than promised in advance. Where a lane is genuinely slow or a destination has unusual import restrictions, we say so before you commit rather than after the parcel is in the air.
Baggage and personal effects
A large share of these shipments are not commercial at all. They are students sending belongings ahead of a term, families moving household goods after relocating, and people who found they could not carry everything as checked luggage. Airlines charge excess baggage by the kilo at the counter, and for anything beyond a bag or two that is usually the most expensive way to move it.
Sent as an unaccompanied courier consignment instead, the same goods travel door to door, clear customs as personal effects where the destination allows it, and are delivered to the address you nominate. Pack it as you would for the hold, list what is inside, and we will handle the declaration.

What is the difference between courier and air cargo?
Courier moves door to door as a parcel under one charge that covers collection, the flight, customs entry, and delivery to the receiver's address. Air cargo moves airport to airport on an air waybill, and the receiver arranges clearance and collection themselves. For personal effects, small parcels, and baggage, courier is usually the more economical of the two once clearance and delivery are counted in.
Do you deliver to the United Kingdom with VAT paid?
Yes. UCL Cargo offers a door-to-door VAT-paid courier service to the United Kingdom, which means import VAT and duty are settled as part of the booking rather than billed to the receiver on arrival. This is the option most personal shippers choose, because the recipient is not asked for a payment before the parcel is released.
Which countries can you send parcels to?
Parcels move from Pakistan to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, across the rest of Europe, and to North and South America, along with destinations across Asia. If you are sending to a country not listed, contact us with the destination address and we will confirm whether the lane is available and what it costs.
Can I send personal baggage instead of a parcel?
Yes. Unaccompanied personal baggage is one of the most common courier consignments we handle, typically for students, families relocating, and people who could not carry everything as checked luggage. It travels as a courier shipment with the same door-to-door handling, and is generally far cheaper than paying an airline's excess baggage charge at the counter.
How do I know where my parcel is?
Every courier consignment is booked under a tracking number issued at collection. Enter it on our tracking page and you will be taken to the carrier's live tracking for that shipment. If the number does not return a result yet, it usually means the parcel has been collected but not scanned into the network, which can take a few hours.
What cannot be sent by courier?
Currency, gold and jewellery, weapons, narcotics, and most flammable liquids and aerosols are prohibited outright. Some goods are allowed but restricted depending on destination, including foodstuffs, medicines, cosmetics, and anything battery-powered. Tell us what is inside the parcel before booking so the contents can be checked against the destination's rules rather than stopped at customs.
